Suggestion
Ranking in Sit and Go
Opened
Currently, the ranking system in Sit and Go tournaments is based on sum of all points accumulated by the player. This doesn't seem to be a fair assessment of a player's skill level. I would like to suggest an Elo rating based system (possibly glicko-1 based system) like the one used in chess. This would be a perfect system for ranking as going with averages will inflate the rankings again, because a player with three wins in three games, will be considered as a highly ranked player, but the truth is that he/she has not played enough games for rankings to reach its true value (inadequate sample size). I would be happy to help the team regarding this issue, in designing this system as i have worked on this before.

if you give us a complete system that we can backtest against existing data, we are happy to try it. It has to be a COMPLETE system though. People have tried many times and have never come up with a better system than what we have. When you say "Elo rating like used in chess", we actually do that in our heads up games as it is more similar to chess (1 v 1). It is a much harder problem when you have different number of players competing in the game.
